Top Story: Despite A Large Number Of Detractors, Animation Guild Members Ratify New Contract
Wacom One. Wacom One.

This month, Wacom introduced its cheapest pen display yet — the 13″ Wacom One which sells for $400.

The 1920 x 1080 full HD is compatible with Mac, Windows, and some Android operating systems. It’s important to note that this is not an all-in-one tablet like Apple’s iPad or Microsoft’s Surface line — this is a drawing tablet that connects to a computing device.

So what’s the verdict? Reviewers have been generally pleased, saying that it’s decent tablet for entry-level users who aren’t quite ready to commit to Wacom’s more expensive options, like Cintiqs.

We haven’t seen any animators review the device yet, but below are a couple in-depth reviews, one from an illustrator and another that compares it to Wacom’s more expensive Cintiq 16.
