The Deadline To Submit Animation Projects For The Third Quirino Awards Is December 12

The awards, which honor animation from Latin America, Spain, and Portugal, will return to Tenerife on April 16–18, 2020.

The countries with the most-nominated animation projects are Spain (13), Brazil (7), and Colombia (5).

Spain, Brazil, and Argentina lead the way with the most nominated projects.

The call is open to filmmakers in the 23 countries that comprise the Ibero-American region.

The first-ever Quirino Awards, honoring Ibero-American animation achievements, announced their final nominations today.

Fourteen countries submitted projects for the first-ever Quirino Awards.

The countries that submitted the most pieces were Spain, Brazil, and Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.

The awards and a meeting of the Ibero-American animation industry will take place over three days next April.
