Titmouse, Animal Pictures To Produce Sci-Fi Comedy ‘The Hospital’ For Amazon Studios

Amazon Studios has ordered two seasons of The Hospital, a new sci-fi animated comedy series heading to Prime Video.

Here are the details:

• The show was created by actress-writer-producer Cirocco Dunlap (writer, Russian Doll, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), who will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
• The Hospital turns on best friends Sleech and Klak, aliens known across the stars as outstanding surgeons. When an exceptional case arises, the two put their careers on the line to tackle the problem, inadvertently putting all of existence at risk.
• Robin Eisenberg developed the visual style of the series and will co-produce and serve as production designer.
• Shannon Prynoski, Chris Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina will executive produce on behalf of Titmouse.
• Shauna McGarry (BoJack Horseman, Tuca & Bertie), along with Maya Rudolph, Natasha Lyonne, and Danielle Renfrew Behrens through their production company Animal Pictures.
• The voice cast is led by Keke Palmer (Alice, Hustlers) as Dr. Klak and Greta Lee (Past Lives, The Morning Show) as Dr. Sleech. Other cast includes Kieran Culkin (Succession, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), singer/songwriter Sam Smith, Rudolph, and Lyonne.
