Animation Coming To Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, And Other Streamers In July 2022
July promises to be a banner month for animated features making their streaming debuts.
Netflix’s The Sea Beast headlines an exciting month of releases for the streamer, which will also debut Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, the first series in the franchise to feature original Po actor Jack Black; Farzar, an adult animation series from Paradise PD creators Roger Black and Waco O’Guin; and the highly anticipated manga-to-series adaptation of Uncle From Another World. If The Sea Beast isn’t enough high-seas adventure for you, we also recommend checking out Aardman’s classic The Pirates! Band of Misfits, which will hit Prime Video on July 1.
HBO Max will begin streaming The Bob’s Burgers Movie starting July 12, and offers the premieres of season two of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, and season threes of Harley Quinn and Tuca & Bertie. The Bob’s Burgers Movie will be available to stream on Hulu as well, one day before the Disney-owned streamer launches season three of Solar Opposites on July 13.
Dreamworks’ The Bad Guys will hit Peacock on July 1, after an impressive run at the box office which has seen the film gross $242.6 million globally to date.
