In its second week on the platform, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is Netflix’s most-watched movie worldwide according to the streamer’s weekly Top 10 list.

The stop-motion adaptation managed 39.4 million viewer hours over the week of December 12-18, up from 29 million during its opening weekend. Despite only being on Netflix for three days during its first week, it still came in at second place among English-language films.

Pinocchio is now the first Netflix original animated feature to take the top spot on its weekly lists since Chris William’s The Sea Beast managed to do so for the week of July 4-10.

Now in its third week on the platform, Stephen Donnelley’s Scrooge: A Christmas Carol finished in ninth place with 5.7 million viewer hours. Produced by Timeless Films in association with Axis Studios, it’s been in the top 10 since premiering on December 2.

Those were the only two animated films in Netflix’s Top 10 this week, but the new animated series Sonic Prime sped into the fifth slot on the list with 27.8 million hours viewed. The last animated series to crack the streamer’s top 10 was Big Mouth when its sixth season premiered back in October.

Meanwhile, among non-English-language series, the Korean show Lookism finished its second week on the platform in eighth place with nearly 10 million hours viewed. Last week the show, adapted from a popular web series, accumulated 8 million viewer hours.
