We’re Launching A Weekly Industry Livestream And A Print Edition To Mark Our 20th Anniversary

March 15, 2004. It was 20 years ago on this date that Cartoon Brew first launched.

It’s been an unlikely and perpetually rewarding journey from those early unruly blogging days to our ongoing status as the most-read global animation industry resource.

But we’re not just celebrating this day – we’re treating the entire year as an opportunity to grow – a time to be bold and to experiment with new ways of delivering timely and relevant information to the animation community.

Next Friday, we launch a weekly livestream on Youtube in which we’ll discuss major (and minor) industry stories with an immediacy and interactivity that can’t be replicated through the written medium.

Then, in June, we debut our new biannual print edition. More details to come on this shortly.

Additionally, exciting features are planned later this year for both the website and subscription platform.

These first 20 years have been a thrill, but hopefully we can all look back at them one day and see that they were only the warm-up act for what was to come. Thank you for coming along with me on this journey!
