Cartoon Brew’s Editor Answers Your Questions
Cartoon Brew’s writers don’t write for themselves; we write to provide an authentic and informed voice for the animation community. As such, making sure we have an open and transparent relationship with our ever-growing readership is essential to doing our job right.
Cartoon Brew’s writers as well as myself already have the privilege of collectively meeting thousands of readers annually at studios, functions, and festivals around the world. And we communicate via email and phone with thousands of others. This new Q&A section hopefully becomes one more way to keep open the lines of communication.
So, what should you ask? Frankly, anything that’s on your mind. Want to know something about the site, its editorial objectives, or its operations? Are there topics you discuss at the studio that you wish Cartoon Brew would cover more regularly? Let us know. Maybe you want to suggest a favorite writer you’d like to see on the site, or ask questions about pieces we’ve recently published? Feel free to do so.
More broadly, do you have questions about different facets of the animation industry, the upcoming awards season, online film distribution, or even the Brew’s own initiatives like CB Fest? I certainly won’t have all the answers, but I’d love to hear what’s on your mind.
Drop me a line with your most burning questions via this form or email them to amid [at] cartoonbrew [dot] com. Please include your name and general geographic location, which will be included with questions that are chosen to be answered. While personal answers can’t be sent for every question, I’ll try to feature as many of them as possible on the site.
