Video Game-Inspired Series ‘Secret Level’ Unveils Teaser Trailer, Release Date
Amazon’s Prime Video has announced a new adult anthology series Secret Level, featuring 15 original short stories set within the worlds of various video games.
The series is from Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, the company behind Netlfix’s Love, Death + Robots. Blur’s Tim Miller created the series. He is also executive producer with Dave Wilson, the show’s supervising director.
It is set to launch globally on Prime Video on December 10. A trailer has been released:
Prime Video has been leaning heavily into mature animated series with titles that include Undone, Invincible, Hazbin Hotel, and Batman: Caped Crusader.
Each episode of Secret Level is described as “a gateway to a new adventure, unlocking exciting worlds from beloved gaming classics and highly anticipated new titles.” Here are the 15 titles that inspired the shorts:
