Here Are The Storyboards Nominated For An Annie Award In The TV/Media Category

Many award shows honor animation projects, but only a small handful, like ASIFA-Hollywood’s Annie Awards, honor the individual achievements of the artists creating the animation.

Each year, we try to present a closer look at one of the individual achievement categories at the Annies and to showcase the work that has been nominated. The category we’ve chosen this year is storyboarding for tv and media.

The five nominees in the category are Emily Dean (Love, Death + Robots), Karl Hadrika (The Cuphead Show!), Yoshiyuki Kaneko (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), Grace Liu (Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight), and Mike Ruocco (Looney Tunes Cartoons). Below, the studios involved have shared the nominated work for each artist in the category.

The deadline to cast Annie Awards ballots is Sunday, February 19, at 11:59 pm PST. The Annie Awards ceremony will be held on February 25 at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles, California.
