Director Brad Bird has—seemingly and possibly—revealed that he will be returning to animation with his next project: The Incredibles 2.

During press interviews for Tomorrowland, which had its premiere in Disneyland over the weekend, Bird divulged to Collider where he was at in the writing process for the long-awaited sequel to The Incredibles.

“Oh yeah I have pages, a bunch of pages,” Bird says in the video. “I had a lot of ideas for the original Incredibles that I didn’t get a chance to use, that I like. I have ideas that I wanted to pursue a little bit and there wasn’t enough time in Incredibles. There are new ideas I have, and I think there I have enough of those together to make an interesting movie. I’m just focusing on getting Tomorrowland out into the world… and playing with the Incredibles sandbox again.”

The Collider reporter then asks Bird, “Do you think that’s definitely the next project?”

“Yeah, it feels like it to me, yeah.”

Collider’s video interview fades abruptly to black at this point.

If there’s any semantic uncertainty about whether Bird’s off-the-cuff response precisely equates to, “Yes, indeed, Incredibles 2 will be the next feature film I direct,” the Internet sure doesn’t want to know about it.

Without committing to timeframes, Bird hasn’t shied away from confirming that the movie is in the works in some form. In an interview with NPR’s Ophira Eisenberg, broadcast in April, he was asked about the state of an Incredibles sequel.

“It’s percolating,” was Bird’s response. “I’m just starting to write it, so we’ll see what happens.”

Bird is also not having a bar with rumors regarding a Violet- or Jack-centric sequel plot. He tweeted last week:
