CGSociety, a long-running resource for digital art professionals with more than 100,000 registered members globally, has launched a new redesign of its website.

Acquired last February by The Art Society LLC, CGSociety’s improved website boasts an infinite scroll feature, faster loading galleries, smartphone and tablet compatibility, improved navigation, and a more engaging, responsive user experience. It also allows users the option to customize their homepages as either a gallery-centric or editorial-focused experience.

“Providing choices and a world of opportunities is what drives the redesigned website,” said Diego Rojas, co-founder of TAS and CGSociety general manager. “The split concept on the homepage allows viewers to see more images and readers to see more news.”

CGSociety teams based in Los Angeles and Adelaide, Australia will continue to work on enhancing the website user experience over the coming months. Rojas elaborated in a post on the CGSociety forums: “This is just the beginning, and we want our community fully involved … We would love to hear your feedback on what you think about the site and suggestions that you would like to see moving forward.

“The international teams will continue to enhance the site and work towards fulfilling CGSociety’s mission to inspire, educate, and employ digital artists.”
