Merry Little Batman Merry Little Batman

Prime Video has released the trailer for Merry Little Batman, a holiday-themed animated Batman film set to hit the platform on December 8.

The trailer features Batman and the gang animated like never before in a style that borrows heavily from the work of legendary cartoonist Ronald Searle.

Here’s what we know about the film:

  • Mike Roth (Regular Show) directs from a screenplay by Morgan Evans (Teen Titans Go!) and Jase Ricci (Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham). Rebecca Palatnic (Looney Tunes Cartoons) produces for Warner Bros. Animation.
  • Synopsis: When young Damian Wayne finds himself alone in Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve, he must transform into “Little Batman” in order to defend his home and Gotham City from the crooks and supervillains intent on destroying the holidays.
  • The film was acquired by Prime Video in April, alongside two new DC animated Batman series, Bat-Family and Batman: Caped Crusader.
  • Merry Little Batman’s voice cast features Luke Wilson, Yonas Kibreab, David Hornsby, and James Cromwell.
