Apple TV+ Has Dropped The Trailer For ‘Luck,’ Its First Original Animated Feature With Skydance Animation
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for its first original animated feature Luck, coming to the platform on August 5.
Film details:
- Luck is the first animated feature produced by Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation. It’s directed by Peggy Holmes (The Pirate Fairy, Secret of the Wings) and written by Kiel Murray (Cars 3, Raya and the Last Dragon).
- Synopsis: Luck is the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. Suddenly finding herself in the never-before-seen Land of Luck, she must unite with the magical creatures there to turn her luck around.
- The film’s voice cast includes Broadway star Eva Noblezada as Sam and Simon Pegg as the lucky Scottish black cat Bob. Joining them are Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Colin O’Donoghue, Lil Rel Howery, Flula Borg, John Ratzenberger, and Adelynn Spoon.
“Luck” is produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, David Eisenmann, and John Lasseter. The film is an Apple Original Films production from L.A.’s Skydance Animation and was animated at the company’s subsidiary, Skydance Animation Madrid.
