Sony Takes ‘Connected’ Off October Release Date
Sony Pictures Animation has moved Michael Rianda’s Connected off its October 23rd release date.
According to a tweet from Sony, the Phil Lord and Chris Miller-produced film will still be released this year, but no date is set.

Yesterday, Universal moved up the release date of The Croods: A New Age from late December to November 25, putting it right up against Disney-Pixar’s Soul, which comes out five days earlier.
However, there’s also an expectation that Disney will move Soul either away from theatrical release or to a different date.
In any case, there’s three major theatrical animation releases scheduled to come out in the U.S. during the last quarter of the year, and only one of them has a firm release date right now. A fourth anticipated animated movie, Glen Keane’s Over the Moon, is set to launch on Netflix on October 23rd.
