During a Good Morning America appearance today, Disney CEO Bob Iger teased that a fourth film in the hugely popular Frozen franchise is already in the works at Walt Disney Animation.

Iger joined the talk show from Hong Kong Disneyland, where he was present for the grand opening of the park’s World of Frozen attraction.

The CEO told GMA:

Frozen 3 is in the works, and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works, too. But I don’t have much to say about those films right now. But Jenn Lee, who created Frozen, the original Frozen and Frozen 2, is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.

Iger confirmed that Frozen 3 is in the works during an earnings call last week, telling investors that the company was working on sequels for its Frozen, Toy Story, and Zootopia franchises.

Disney is smack-dab in the middle of a well-documented cold streak at the box office, with numerous animated and live-action films failing to make an impact. It’s clear Iger and his team believe that returning to tried and true franchises can reverse that trend, at least when it comes to animated features.

Correction: Disney first announced Frozen 3 is in the works earlier this year. Last week’s earnings call confirmed that information, along with the plans for the Toy Story and Zootopia francishses.
