Netflix is the first of the major U.S. studios to reveal its plans for Annecy, and it’s a packed slate of programming that further reaffirms the streamer’s remarkable commitment to animation in all its varied forms.

Here’s a rundown of the big can’t-miss Netflix events taking place at Annecy, which run from June 9 to 15 in France:

  • World premiere of Ultraman: Rising, from director Shannon Tindle and co-director John Aoshima, will take place on Wednesday, June 12, ahead of its worldwide streaming debut later that week. A making-of session about the film will take place on Thursday, June 13, with Tindle and Aoshima, who’ll be joined by Sunmin Inn (art director), Hayden Jones (vfx supervisor), and Scot Stafford (composer).
  • “Netflix Animation: From Twilight of the Gods to Wallace & Gromit” presentation: On Wednesday, June 12, a panel previewing some of the streamer’s upcoming projects. Directors Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, will offer a sneak peek at Aardman’s upcoming Wallace & Gromit film, while Zack Snyder (joined by executive producer Deborah Snyder and Xilam animation director Slimane Aniss) will unveil clips from the adult animated series Twilight of the Gods, which launches this fall. Other previews include Skydance Animation’s Spellbound and Phil Johnston’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits.
  • Work-in-progress sessions: An in-depth look at the upcoming feature That Christmas will happen on Tuesday, June 11. Presenters include writer Richard Curtis, director Simon Otto, producer Nicole Hearon, and production designer Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn.
  • Making-of sessions: Arcane, which will launch its second season in November, will present on June 12 with showrunner Christian Linke, writer Amanda Overton, senior concept artist Arnaud Baudry, director Bart Maunoury, and producer Christine Ponzevera. Big Mouth’s presentation on June 13 will feature co-creators Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin.
  • Another key Netflix highlight is an exhibition of puppets from the upcoming Wallace & Gromit film. Additionally, Blue Eye Samurai and Pokémon Concierge will screen in the festival’s official competition.
