Crunchyroll and Leftfield Media are getting set to kick off three days of premieres, panels, exhibits, screenings, and interactive activities at the sixth edition of Anime NYC next week.

Running November 18-20 at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, this year’s Anime NYC will host more than 100 hours of panels, screenings, and special events over the weekend, with dozens of guests from the Japanese animation industry attending to speak, sign autographs, and mingle with U.S.-based fans.

The event has exploded in popularity, with last year’s event drawing over 50,000 attendees, up from approximately 20,000 attendees at the first edition in 2017. Demand for the autograph sessions and panels at this year’s Anime NYC was so overwhelming that organizers have implemented a lottery system for tickets. Anyone interested in attending will need to log in between November 9 at 6 p.m. Eastern and November 11 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern and register for the panels they’d like to see. Since the event is using a lottery system, there is no incentive to sign in early, as no entries will be awarded until after the signup period has closed. More details about the panel lottery can be found here.

In total Anime NYC is hosting 27 panels this year. Standout sessions include world premiere screenings of Tomo-chan Is a Girl! and Lupin Zero as well as panels dedicated to Trigun Stampede, Spy x Family (with series EP and Wit Studio president George Wada), Studio Trigger, and Mob Psycho 100 III panel.

In addition to a dedicated Industry Panel, Crunchyroll will also team up with Bandai Namco to bring fans a sneak peek at That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond alongside a panel featuring producers Kouhei Eguchi and Mika Iwahashi from 8bit and producer Bungo Kondo from Bandai Namco Filmworks, as well as a live mini-concert.

World and U.S. Premieres at this year’s Anime NYC include:
  • Tomo-chan Is a Girl! – World Premiere
  • Lupin Zero – World Premiere
  • Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack – U.S. Premiere
