Remastered ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ Coming To Blu-ray In October

The groundbreaking early nineties action-adventures series Batman: The Animated Series is receiving the deluxe treatment on Blu-ray.

The big news is that Warner Bros. has remastered all the episodes of this graphically innovative show for the first time since the 1990’s. Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition, currently available for pre-order, will be available in a 12-disc boxset on October 16, 2018.

Included on the set: all 85 episodes of the original series, which aired between 1992 and 1995, as well as the 24 episodes of the continuation series The New Batman Adventures (1997-1999), and the features Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998).

Bonus features include:

• The Heart of Batman (new one-hour documentary) – A rare gathering of talent defined Batman for a generation. This hour-long documentary takes an in-depth look at the renowned storytellers behind the landmark series.
