Clickhole, the satirical Onion spinoff site, has published a “newly discovered” series of notes from Walt Disney to his employees, fans, and John F. Kennedy, in which he explains the truth about Donald Duck and his eggs.

Whether you find it funny or not is a matter of personal taste (personally I lol’d), but whatever you think, give credit to Clickhole for coming up with some original comedy that takes aim at Walt’s creative process and not resorting to the hoary, inaccurate potshots about Walt being misogynist and racist. (At the risk of ruining the joke by overanalyzing it, we should note that the 1937 letter is inaccurate because not only did Mickey Mouse look different during that period, but the studio was located in the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles.)
