New York-based commercial production company Hornet has opened up a new outpost in London’s Shoreditch district.

“About half our business comes from Europe,” Hornet’s managing director Michael Feder said in a statement. “We already represent directors in the UK, Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona — but London comprises the bulk of our work.” The new London studio, led by by executive producer Lisa Hill (most recently of Passion Pictures), will work with Hornet’s roster of international directors, while also developing new talent in the U.K.

Hornet London will represent directors Yves Geleyn, Dan & Jason, Peter Sluszka, Julia Pott, Gabe Askew, Eran Hilleli and Parallel. London-based director David Luepschen will join the roster in February, and two additional signings are anticipated for later in the year.
