“The Hive” Heads to the U.S.
Toronto, Canada — Bejuba! Entertainment has announced that The Hive is set to launch on the Disney Junior channel in the US starting October this year. The launch completes the total global platform with The Walt Disney Company, who have acquired the show in all territories for cable/satellite rights except for Australia and Israel. Most other major territories are already on-air, with excellent ratings.

The global success of the show has been instrumental in securing the US and we’re thrilled.”
The Hive has sold extremely well terrestrially with TeleQuebec, and Knowledge Network both in Canada, YLE Finland, ABC Australia and Hop in Israel closing recently. More deals are in the works.
Space Enterprises, the M & L agent has also recently reported that toys, plush, and apps for both the popular Leapfrog and iPad are soon to be launched.
The Hive is the successful CGI series from The Hive Enterprises Ltd, produced by Lupus Films, Monumental Productions and DQ Entertainment, and made with the support of the MEDIA programme of the European Union. The 26 x half hour or (78 x 7 min) series follow the exploits of Buzzbee, Rubee and the rest of the extremely cute Bee family, who live together in the hive. Storylines explore themes such as working together to solve problems, being part of a diverse community and valuing family and friendships.
