Vancouver, Canada — Jillianne Reinseth has joined the ranks at Nerd Corps Entertainment as Vice President of Creative Affairs, overseeing development of all original IP and co-productions at the company.  Her slate of development work at Nerd Corps includes the company’s newest original property, Endangered Species, which will be showcased at MIPCOM this October, along with two additional new kids properties.

“Nerd Corps is a creative-first company focused on building kids entertainment brands that can travel the world,” said Asaph Fipke, Supreme Commander at Nerd Corps. “We look for the best in the creative community to work with, and bringing Jillianne onto the team is a key part of that strategy. Reinseth brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked with some of the top companies and talent in the industry today, including Disney, Nickelodeon, Studio B and Chorion. Her development credits include such hit properties as Kid vs. Kat, Martha Speaks, Make Way for Noddy, Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch, W.I.T.C.H., The Fairly OddParents and Famous Five.

“Nerd Corps is known for building great boys action-adventure properties and character-driven comedies,” said Reinseth, “and the company has recently started branching into preschool and girls properties. My role is to continue that trajectory and help develop a robust stable of properties for Nerd Corps.”

Reinseth is the newest key hire for Nerd Corps and helping to fuel the company’s growing success. Nerd Corps Entertainment boasts multiple divisions that span distribution, interactive, consumer products and licensing in addition to a world-class animation studio.
