Top Story: ‘The Wild Robot’ And ‘Arcane’ Lead 52nd Annie Award Nominations

Over the course of six days during Canadian Screen Week (March 25-31, 2019), the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television announced the winners for its 2019 Canadian Screen Awards, which honor the previous year’s most accomplished Canadian productions and artists on screens big and small.

The most lauded animated production was Spin Master Entertainment and Guru Studio’s PAW Patrol for Nick Jr. (pictured at top), which received three accolades for animated program/series, sound for animation, and original music for animation. The prize for best animation direction went to Hotel Transylvania: The Series for its “A Few Good Monsters” episode.
