Here Are The Character Designs That Were Nominated For An Annie Award In The TV/Media Category
More than any other ceremony, the ASIFA-Hollywood Annie Awards draw attention to the achievements of artists working across the animation industry.
Yet ironically, even as these artists gain visibility by being nominated, the work for which they are honored sometimes remains unseen. This is true of the character design categories: the actual designs are rarely made public.
We found this a shame, so this year we’ve decided to spotlight the work of the nominees for the Best Character Design – TV/Media award (which were announced, along with the other nominations, last month).
With permission from the producers, we are exclusively reproducing the nominated artwork. The deadline to cast Annie Awards ballots is Tuesday, February 15. The winners will be announced at the 49th Annie Awards, which will be held virtually on March 12.
