WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE PIECE OF ARTISTIC ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED, AND FROM WHO?
“I think I want to pick the simple advice I received from Scott Watanabe. He told me to think of the way to make the piece look ‘interesting.’ Ultimately, it is the idea that makes any piece look interesting and leaves a long impression on your audience. That advice stuck with me because it made me realize that art should happen from my head (concept) first which I often forget when I get carried away by techniques and aesthetics of the piece.”
