WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE PIECE OF ARTISTIC ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED, AND FROM WHO?
“Drawing has always been my primary way to express myself so maybe ‘draw things from real life.’ That one is really cliché and basic, but still solid advice; it helped me a lot when starting out. ‘Draw the space between objects instead of the objects themselves’ is also a good one. I mostly remember the technical tips and tricks like these that I picked up from my teachers during art school. For a while it felt important to be able to draw things the way they look.”
