What is the most valuable piece of artistic advice you have ever received, and from who?
“One of my teachers once told me, ‘You are too colorful, you have to think every drawing in black and white.’ I hated him as he was saying that, but then he finished his sentence, ‘because everything turns out grey.’ It changed my life, literally. I thought colors were good eye-catchers but, if the contrast doesn’t follow, the result will be drab.”
