Chainsaw Man Trailer Chainsaw Man Trailer

The official Chainsaw Man website and its associated social media accounts have dropped a brand-new trailer for the franchise’s highly anticipated upcoming series adaptation.

Series details:

  • Chainsaw Man is directed by Ryu Nakamura, best known for his work on Jujustu Kaisen, and is produced by Mappa. Crunchyroll will stream the series in the U.S. as it airs in Japan this October.
  • The series is adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s idiosyncratic manga series of the same name. Viz Media distributes the manga in English, and all eleven volumes of part one are out now. Chainsaw Man part two began serialization on July 13; and Chainsaw Man volume 12, the first volume in the collection to contain the books of part two, will release in Japan on October 4.
  • Synopsis: Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind; he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
  • The Chainsaw Man anime adaptation was previewed at this year’s Crunchyroll Expo, where Cartoon Brew’s Kambole Campbell filled us in on what we might expect when the show premieres next month.
