Top Story: ‘The Wild Robot’ And ‘Arcane’ Lead 52nd Annie Award Nominations

South Korean CG/VFX house Locus Creative Studios recently released a trailer for its fairy tale parody, Red Shoes & The 7 Dwarfs, currently in production.

The family-friendly feature will “tackle the inconvenient truth about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” according to the film’s director, Sung-ho Hong (Egg-Cola: A Miracle in the Desert). In the movie, the dwarfs are actually handsome knights who have been placed under a spell. To lift the curse, they must recover a pair of magical red shoes that are being worn by a woman who has put on a few extra pounds.

The $12 million, English-language family film is currently slated for release in late-2017. Korean sales company Finecut is handling international sales for the film.
