WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE PIECE OF ARTISTIC ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED, AND FROM WHO?
I find there are two things that come into my head the most often when I’m working. They are:

  • Spread color throughout a piece, so the eye doesn’t get stuck on a spot of color that only occurs in one place. Unless it’s intentional. That’s from my college watercolor professor.
  • Jillian Tamaki once tweeted something along the lines of, ‘Explore new ideas/techniques with your freelance work.’
